How to Play Like a Pro

Stack, Block, and Outsmart Your Friends

  • Setup:

    • Use a standard 52-card deck.

    • Two to four players

    • Deal 7 cards to each player (5 if 4 players).

    • Remaining deck forms the draw pile in the center.

  • Gameplay:

    • Place a king from your hand in any empty corner to start a sequence.

    • Build descending sequences in alternating colors on any stack (e.g., red 9 on black 10).

    • On your turn, move cards or sequences to build your stacks and block opponents.

    • Draw one card from the pile if you can’t play.

    • Continue clockwise until a player empties their hand or no more moves are possible.

  • Scoring: 

    • The first player to play all of their cards wins the round

    • At the end of a round, each player counts the cards left in their hand.

    • Card points typically count as 1 point each (some house rules assign face cards higher, e.g., King = 13, Queen = 12, Jack = 11).

    • If playing multiple rounds, keep a running total—the player with the lowest score after a set number of rounds wins the game.
